	Phoenix Dance Studio, the premier ballroom dance studio of the Tri-Cities area, was established in May 2002 in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Owned and operated by 26 amateur dancers, our smoke-free studio is dedicated to the promoting social and competitive ballroom dancing in the Tri-Cities and Central Virginia areas. You'll find the atmosphere at Phoenix to be inviting and friendly, centered on the idea that everyone can learn to dance given patience and professional instruction. Dance Instruction Phoenix holds weekly Group Classes for beginner and experienced dancers and Friday Night Dance Parties for all dancers and guests. In addition, our facility is rented by independent professional dance instructors for Private Lessons and Series Classes in ballroom and other dances. The facility is also available for rent by other organizations and individuals for dances, classes and social events. Facility Our main ballroom includes a 1600 square foot hardwood dance floor, mirrored wall, and contemporary sound system and lighting. We currently have one additional instructional room and a third for expansion. Location Phoenix Dance Studio is located at 123 Pickwick Avenue, just off the Boulevard behind Goodwill, in Colonial Heights, Virginia. From I-95 north or south, proceed to Exit 54. At bottom of ramp, turn left onto US 144, Temple Avenue, proceed to second traffic signal where Temple Avenue ends. Turn left onto US 1, Boulevard. Proceed 0.9 miles, turn left on Pickwick Avenue between Goodwill Pickwick Avenue at CVS Note:  The Goodwill store is no longer at that intersection.
